Hello Moose Members. We hope that everyone is doing well and is healthy. Please know that we recognize the struggle that many of you are going through with not being able to see your fellow Moose. Again, we encourage you to explore other Lodges in the area or make to plans with your fellow Moose outside of our Lodge.

We are aware of talks and speculation about a soft landing or re-opening of the Social Quarters only. In order for that to happen, the Lodge requires hot water and heat. The Lodge utilizes natural gas for both. During the accident, the gas line was severed and Columbia Gas will not reconnect us until the new footer is built.

Unfortunately, at this time we do not have a definitive date, nor will we speculate, on when the Lodge will be open. As of today, we have been closed for a full month. While that is a long time, we are approximately, or slightly behind, where we should be with our Building Recovery Timeline. In the interest of transparency, please see the general synopsis of a building recovery process below, which includes what's required and approximate time lines. Please note however, that in these building situations there are always external factors such as material availability, weather, availability of workers, and the Holidays.

The next update will be on Monday, November 24th.

Thank you,

The Board of Officers
